October 7, 2017 is memorable.

On this is day, the first ever Apollo Fitness Championship (AFC) was held.

As the founder of AFC, it was a pleasure working with local health care providers, and my excellent staff, to give this ambitious annual event the foundation it deserved for entering the demanding realm of health and fitness. Further, the response to our efforts has been tremendous, and we’re already planning for next year.

AFC is all about being your best. There are no excuses in our reality. We are steadfastly setting individual and collective standards for the life we want to live. The result has been a deep commitment to collective and individual achievement that cannot be diminished by circumstances.

This year’s winner, Timothy Santiago, exemplifies AFC’s truth. He is a dedicated bodybuilder and competitor who will represent AFC proudly until next year before defending his title, which I’m sure he won’t give up easily. 

We at AFC are committed to the immense work necessary for making our competition a premier community event, bringing unstoppable dedication and single-mindedness year after year.

Our goal is to be the best.
